"T-Bag; The Reunion Documentary" (Helen conducted all interviews).

 Described as a cross between Doctor Who and Black Adder, T-Bag was a hugely popular children's TV programme between 1985- 1994. All the cast and crew reunited for two days to film this documentary in which Helen interviewed.

Cinderella (Helen Oakleigh is playing The Fairy Godmother, Co-Director and Company Manager).

Stepping Out (Helen Oakleigh is playing comedy role Sylvia)

Performances were at The Kings Theatre on 23rd and 24th October 2006 at 7.30pm. Well done to the whole cast and crew and production team behind Stepping Out.

Stepping Out is a warm and funny play about the lives, lust and loves of a group of women (and one man) attending a weekly tap dancing class in a dingy North London Church Hall.  There is ex professional dancer Mavis who runs the class; cheerfully gobby Silvia; snobby Vera; timid Dorothy; attractive Maxine; plain Lynne; Rose, loud and warm hearted and Geoffrey the lone male. As the play progresses, the class of dancing improves to such an extent that by the climax, a grand charity show performance they have been transformed into triumphant tapers worthy of any chorus line!

"Open Air Theatre Festival 2006"

A theatre festival touring the south coast with three plays to a number of castles and stately homes from 6th- 27th August. Helen performed as Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and as the White Witch aka Queen Jardis in the chronicles of Narnia "The Magician's Nephew". She directed "The Tempest" with a cast of 16 including actors, musicians and a singer! The tour had  fantastic season playing to large houses with "A Midsummer Night's Dream" being nominated for Best Professional Production 2006. The award ceremony is in December 2006... Brilliant tour and many thanks to everyone involved who all worked so hard to make the festival the success it was!

"Drawn Together" (Helen Oakleigh is co-director)

"Drawn Together was co-directed by Helen Oakleigh, artistic director and writer was Tania Ison. Brought to the Wylloyotts Theatre by students of Dramarama theatre school. Helen Oakleigh directed the students from Queen Elizabeth school in High Barnet. Performed Sat 17th- Sun 18th June 2006. Well done to eveyone involved in the play.

"Becoming Daughters" at The Old Red Lion Theatre, London (Helen Oakleigh is director)

joinedupwriters is proud to announce its Spring Festival SPRING FESTIVAL OF NEW THEATRE at the OLD RED LION THEATRE, ST JOHN STREET, ISLINGTON, N1. Saturday 6th May at 3.30pm and Monday 8th May at 7.30pm: "Becoming Daughters" by Alex Viac, Most girls never have to worry about losing their status as daughters. But for fostered children like Imogen and Jemma, the challenge is to become a daughter in the first place, and then to remain one. When the girls find out that a real daughter is coming to stay, this may be their biggest challenge yet. Writer, Alex Viac is a founder member of joinedupwriters. He writes plays and screenplays, his work has been shown at The Hen and Chickens, The Arcola, The Old Red Lion, and he has also staged productions of his work in Lyon, France. This was a complete sell out- days before we opened with no publicity! So many thanks to everyone who continually supports us!

Wind in the Willows (Helen Oakleigh was lead actor) Six performances over Easter 2006 of this classic tale. Fantastic audience responses. Pictures seen in local newspapers plus national newspaper, The Times.
